Its pretty popular in the minitruck scene, to each their own, but I also personally prefer corner lights left on. I put a build of that truck in the first gen build section if you want to see more of it.

dont know what to call this contraption, its like a hidden bumper I suppose. You wont be able to see it once installed unless youre laying on the ground looking for it but it is to protect my roll pan and rear bedsides from anything that tries to rip them off.

I got my hands on the gas door skin from a colorado and the door off of an S-10. Its hard to tell in the pictures but i flanged the entire outside of the gas door skin so it fit up super flush and was a breeze to tack in place. The first picture is the skin tacked in place and the second it the tacks ground down but with no other body work to show how even it sat with the 16g flange.

This is one clean truck man. Nice job. The rear suspension is perfect!

You might have said in the post but have you done all the work yourself? Shaving, bagging, etc?

I have done every single thing on the truck myself with the exception of some paint which was done by my partner at our shop.

Thanks for all the support guys!

I was playing with the new dimple dies and decided to add some strength back into the bed sides so welded these support plates in. I am considering capping them as well

completed the big three upgrade today with the new wire, hopefully I can get my hands on some better terminals for the battery soon. I also started working with the mdf, started a few things like the amp mounts and center console. The only thing I tool a picture of was the beauty ring I made for the sub.

the beauty ring was sacrificed for the good of the fiberglass skeleton today, I will just make another one if I do decide to run one. pretty much finished the skeleton today so I just need to start wrapping it now. The front of the box with flow into the custom shifter boot cover thing, I just didnt want to make it all one giant piece for the purpose of removal. once it is wrapped I will measure to see how much air space I actually have after the subs displacement. I am hoping to be pretty close but if I do end up needing more air I am just going to build the back of the box out behind the seats a bit to get the extra air. Oh and the build is now officially a challenge, today on the phone the Boston rep said he didnt think it could all be fit in a body dropped single cab hahahaha. To be fair no one told him it was a custom fiberglass box but still....

it may not fit easily but one will fit! Stretched my sweet holiday themed fleece over the frame today and then gave it a little test fit. It fit just as i had expected, like a very large sub stuffed in a very tiny truck. I am happy with the fitment though it and it looks like it will have plenty of air as well. One of the major reasons i chose this sub was that it only need one cubic foot, not bad at all for its size.

This picture is with 3 layers of fiberglass on the outside and one on the inside, more layers to come! Below that is the rough shape of the shifter boot section of the console and also the part that houses the airbag switches. let me know what you guys think.

I got my seats back and I am in love with them! Deleted the lumbar support adjustment handle and the headrest. Also moved the top stitching to the back to give it a cleaner look and had all the seams changed to hidden stitching. More padding added to the entire seat and covered in a SUPER soft black leather. very happy with the seats and they look great. Now I just need to find time to install them in the truck.

so i have had all of this installed for awhile now and just never got around to grabbing a picture of it. Finished painting the fiberglass for the truck like the speaker pods and some other little pieces and got it all installed. Also built a frame for the second battery and hooked it all up. The battery lays horizontal under the part to the cab that the hump in the floor, where the gas tank used to be. Mounted all my amps on the back wall on the piece of leather wrapped wood I installed there awhile ago along with all the fuses etc.

The system works great, sounds good and hits hard. The charging system upgrades seem to have worked well too, I can turn on both my TVs, headlights, and have the system at max with no head light dimming at all, I even had the air compressor turn on with no problems.

still left to do is the front half of the console that will also included new switches and a shifter boot, new steering wheel and floor mats. At which point the interior should be pretty much done, just in time for me to completely gut it for paint hahaha.

garage lighting made it pretty hard to get a good picture but you get the basic idea.

right now I'm in the middle of a big body work rush to get the truck ready for WCN. Doing the entire truck stock Toyota white for now. Eventually it will be two tone with the gold and black used on my interior with a small silver separating stripe, the same used on the frame. There are a few other things down the road I want to get perfect before I rip out the interior and windows and all to get a good two tone so I figure I can rock the white for now since it is a lot easier to spot in here and there, that and I cant stand primer any more!

Shaved the antenna, hood squirters, back of the cab body lines, and just fixed the dents and ten years of rock chips this week. Hood, fenders, and cab are painted so now I need to finish the bed for its final prime and paint. Big thanks to my boys Kieth and Jessie for helping out with the paint.
