good news bed got painted. bad news the shop was way too humid and i got some nasty sags on the lil shelve things on the inside of the bed. more bad news I have no room to carry anything at all to the show. Good news i have sags on my lil shelve things so I dont care about the paint and built a luggage rack to go on them so I can get some stuff to the show. on with the pics.

got the fenders shaved and painted the day before this local show this weekend. They look better but i need to get the proper corner lights and line them up a bit better. They were pretty much bolt on, all i had to do was remove the bracket on the front of the fender where the corner light is. It was just a few spot welds holding it on.

Your truck was one of my favorites today at the car show.

Did you paint the dash yourself? I ask because I want to pull mine and paint it but I was wondering how much of a pain it was to pull it out and put it back in.

They are adjustable suspensions that are able to lift the truck well above the tire.

So as anyone with a sharp eye might have noticed in the last show coverage I posted, where once there was a cherry bomb there was nothing. On my way up to West Coast Nationals in September the factory weld on the muffler cracked about 30 min outside Parker, AZ and flew out from under my truck. I decided it was a done deal and threw it away when I got to the show grounds. This time around I was looking for something a bit more quiet and less obnoxious so I decided to try out a nice tig welded Apex muffler I had laying around the shop. I must say I am very happy with the sound, most of the time I forget it is even there. I also added some more hangers to keep vibration down, as i suspect that is what caused the old glass pack to break.

I also got around to making some more headway on the center console. I still have a few tweaks that should hopefully make it sit even with the nose of the sub box. I will also be trying a few different style plates for the switches until I find the one that appeals to me the most.

Painted the rims, grille, and drive shaft black sand pearl, painted the knuckles and boston emblem gold and redid the airlines with stainless hardline. Threw the ol aim compressor in the trash and installed two viair 480cs in pewter.

    small update

Got a few parts back from powder coating today, thats right GOLDDDDD. They are gold but we might add some flake over top of the powder coating for extra bling, I will wait to see what it looks like installed. Also my homie Kirby came through big time and found me a black leather steering wheel out of a 97 4Runner, finally the last part of my interior will be done.
