Baja 250 march 12 - 14 whos going?

A friend of mine was on his Honda 650.... Mile 180 he hit a rock, did 3 endos and dislocated his shoulder. When I went to talk to him Saturday, He was SUPER sick.

 

There were two guys on bikes that ate it pretty much right in front of us. Luckily they both landed in such a way that they were fine. They just dusted themselves off and kept going. This San Felipe race is VERY tiring due to the never ending whoopies.

 

So, where did you stay and where did you watch the race?

 

Well we arrived in San Felipe at midnight and we were being led by a friend that lives in Mexicali. He knows the area much better than any of us do so he was leading the pack.

We tried an access road but since it was pitch black out, he/we couldn't find our way onto the race course so we turned back and eventually made it back to the road. Eventually we took another access road and found the race course at I believe race mile 20. We decided to camp out there and then re-asess the situation in daylight. So we ended up watching the bikes & Quads at this spot but did didn't like it since there were too many lines available that bikes and quads took different lines for some, all we saw was their dust trail... After eating breakfast and picking everything up, we left that spot and followed the race course for about 5 miles. We then came upon the section where it's big whoopies for about a 1 mile straight with no turns or obstructions. We pulled off to the side and waited for the trucks. We loved the spot because you could see down the course about a mile as they were coming just floating over the whoopies hauling ass. We all liked this spot so much that we already decided that we're watching the next 250 there again. I wish I could show you guys the video we took but I guess my friend can't upload the video or something... After most of the first couple of classes passed, we left that spot and went to about RM 235 or so to watch them come back into the end.
