What is the specific light called from Baja design that I see used for our 3rd gen fogs?

I was considering getting the factory rigid industries, but it looks like they are underwhelming from what I've read.

I'm assuming both are the same except the pro is brighter? Which one do you guys think is best for a fog light application?

The Pro is stupid bright, if you plan on running these on the road please get the sports for the sake of other drivers as well. A buddy of mine here in Denver has the amber sports and they are just beautiful for driving in the snow and rain (in the summer months) of Colorado

Perfect. I was concerned that the pros may be too bright for road driving.

Now what are the squadron R ? I'm guessing these are not meant for road driving either?

As far as beam pattern? Driving/combo my best bet for fogs?

so you have two bezels, the square and the round. you are going to want the squadron sport-R for the round bezel and the fit kit to get it in your truck......but i'd hold off for a little b/c baja designs is working on a custom bezel to fit the 3rd gens seamlessly.

This. I would call up Baja designs though as they are very knowledgeable about their products and can also throw you a 10% off for being TW member. They always seem to give me a deal on top of the discount whenever I get stuff from them.

Can you get the bezels we lettering on them? I thought I saw one with "squadron" on top and something else on bottom, maybe"sport"?

I think it'd look great, even if it said Baja design. One of the main reason I like the stock Ridgid is how clean the lettering looks on the bezel.

If you want to keep them working as fog lamps then you should get the Wide Cornering beam pattern.

    They have in it white
    https://www.bajadesigns.com/products/squadron-r-sport-pair-wide-cornering-led.asp

    Or amber

I will say this though, I have rigid DOT fogs (only rigid lights I own, rest is BD) on my tube bumper as I didn't want to have any hassle for inspections. I think sports with an amber lense will likely suffice for inspections, but I don't know for sure.

It depends on the model. I just got the one's I posted and the amber color is part of the lens

The inspections are not that tough about those things around where I live

It is my impression that you can replacement lenses, either a different color (amber vs. clear) and or a different pattern (wide cornering vs. spot vs. combo). But I can only find the square replacement lenses on their site. I've been researching these a little bit and reading up on their subforum here, and a lot of times they suggest calling them when ordering so maybe the round replacement lenses are a call-to-order item? They plug and play into the existing light harness and you can use the stock fog light switch. The only disadvantage is they won't turn on with high beams, but not an issue for me.

My intention is to get the clear squadron r sports and an amber replacement lens (looks like they are around $15 each). The amber will go on in the winter months. But I didn't know they were redesigning the bezel to have a better fit in the stock bumper. that's good to know.
