If we could get an XL Series light to fit we would have done it. Unfortunately that would require extensive modification to the OEM bumper and a very expensive mounting bracket.

anyone install the switches that come with the wire harness or are most people using OTRATTW switches? if you used the wire harness switches can you post images of the location

For anyone interested in how our Squadron-R Series Lights mount in their @Pelfreybilt bumper take a look at these shots! Nice to see some pics from behind the bumper. Fits perfectly with the round bezel.

 

Nice! any front shots? I still need to purchase some for my bumper.

Cheers for the mention @Baja Designs. I love the lights!

They did fit perfectly onto the round cans. They also did not require bending the bolt tab on the bumper like some other lights, and did not require notching the oem steel reinforcement that runs below the headlights which Pelfreybilt indicates in the instructions is required to fit fog lights. These lights are just low profile enough to fit under it without notching, so win-win!

Went out and shot these in my garage just now to show more details of the finished install. Lighting was not the best, but hopefully you can see how they fit under the steel reinforcement without notching it. It's a tight fit but it works.

Haven't yet, just got them on a couple days ago.

 

Just in the middle of mocking up a pair of Onyx spots from Low Range Offroad. Very nice lights.

What advantages if any does Amber lights have over regular color?

 

The main advantage is reduced glare in poor weather conditions like Fog, Dust, Rain, and Snow. These rock guards are nice because they easily snap on and off for a quick color change!
