I have to look at my invoice but I think the amber lights are the combo wide/driving and the side wing lights are the work light pattern.

I bought the 40" cutout fairing from Zack and Bailey sent me a 40" dual control bar for the rack. I had some round IPF's behind the grill but after some tests I came to see that they were impeding the air flow a bit by making an odd pattern. I put the 20" bar that Bailey sent me in place and now it acts like a pretty good replacement for the factory high pressure bar that came with the stock grille. I probably wouldn't have ever noticed it but I have a friend that works for Boeing that has access to a huge wind tunnel.

I've never understood lights behind the grill, frankly. Especially big, round pancakes. These trucks rarely have cooling probs, but why encourage them especially when going slow offroad? And as you indicated, why install an expensive device to improve visibility and immediately degrade its primary purpose by physically impairing it with mesh?

High pressure bar: please explain. I assume you mean air pressure, and that the stock grill center bar creates a high pressure area immediately behind itself that helps slow down and disperses the rest of the low pressure air inflow across more of the radiator's front area? I'm reminded of radial engine interior cowling dynamics now.

    And

I'm totally going to build my own wind tunnel next year.

@Baja Designs Bailey, do you have any pics of light pattern shots of only S2 Pros (one pair) with driving/combo lenses?

I'm looking at putting a pair on my Prinsu rack forward facing rather than a light bar. Been searching for images of this, but no luck so far.

Here are two photos for you. They do not have the distance markers labeled but it does show the pattern

    (QTY: 1 S2 Pro Driving/Combo 48-0003)
    S2%20Combo%204_zps7gu07l8y_946dc4c133405e6f9490eef0a66dd092725c17a6.jpg

We do not have a pair side by side but here is our Squadron Pro Driving/Combo (4,900 Lumens, 1 S2 Pro is 2,450 Lumens)
You will have more spread with a pair of S2 Pros since they will not be stacked on one another.

    Squadron%20Pro%20Combo_zpsagrvzkej_d4fa46f92992166635c95e32828f7c3c764f7ffc.jpg

Hope this helps! Distance between telephone pole and dead tree is 210feet. Those obstacles are ~300 feet away

Thanks, I think it does. Let's make sure I got this right.

So the second pic is a single Squadron Pro, correct? Not a pair?

And they are basically a pair of S2s in a cube form factor.

And I'd get better lateral dispersion at distance than the lower pic shows.

Judging from the foreground tracks on the ground and perspective, I'm guessing this pic was shot from standing on the roof of a vehicle, or somewhere higher up than standard driver position, correct?

Correct the second picture is just one Squadron Pro.

And yes they are like two S2 Pros combined into one 3"x3" light.

Yes, since they lights will be spaced apart from one another you have increased spread and more usable light.

This was taken at a higher angle to showcase the pattern of the light

It does, with the IPF's out and a reproduction of the BD 20" bar in place we saw more distribution of air across the face of the A/C and radiator. I don't drive fast but like many here I do drive slow and idle under load and I really want as much air circulation as possible.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
I only wish I'd thought to wait until the 1st to order... :(
