Would someone mind helping me wire a set of S2 pros up on my harley? I’d imagine it’s the same concept no matter the vehicle.

Wiring is not one of my strong points. I ordered a pair of S2 pros that I’m going to mount on the crash bar of my 2018 harley street glide that has a vision x headlight (really wish Baja designs would start making a 7” Jeep/Harley headlight).

I’d like to use a factory auxiliary switch to “arm” the lights so they’re activated with the high beam switch. So auxiliary switch off, headlight functions normal, auxiliary switch on and the S2 lights come on with the high beams. If someone could help me accomplish this I’d appreciate it.

We have a few different Adventure Bike Harnesses that might work for your application. Most are high beam activated. Please give us a ring and our team will go over more detailed options including dimmers

Baja Designs will NOT be offering a Squadron SAE upgrade service. The upgrade requires the lights to be stripped to bare housings and built back up. This requires a lot of labor and would put a big delay in our production department. Upgrade pricing would be nearly the same price as the retail price on the new lights.

Here is a question we received on another forum:

In the United States, fog lights require SAE J583 compliance in order to be used on any official roadway. Since fog lights are not mandatory on a vehicle, DOT doesn’t have a requirement for fog lights and has left this as well as many other requirements up to SAE to determine the standards. Through their expertise, Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) has come up with and agreed upon a standard for all US fog lights (J583) to adhere to. These standards require the lights to meet very strict guidelines to maintain the safety of motorists. The new Baja Designs' SAE Squadron meets these strict standards and can be used legally in all 50 states as a (J583) fog light.

I like the S2s you got on the side of the prinsu. You got the harness routed down to the engine bay along the windshield right?

Sounds good man, I got my roof light bar routed similar...might need to mimic that routing.

@Rob Daman did you do a video on running that set of wires? @steiner9er had some questions about running them through there.

The third gens have a nice little cubby area on the windshield that I know he used when routing the wiring from the prinsu down...sadly the second gens dont have quite as good of a trench to work with.

I didn't but there's a gap on both sides of the molding that fits the wire pretty clean. I think I have a vid/pic on my instagram hightlights under Baja Designs.

I will say that AZPowerPerformance (Think that's right) on Ebay has treated me really well with all the BD products I got from them when Ebay was having those crazy sales.

When you go out to your vehicle look at the black rubber side framework of your windshield. You should be able to wedge your finger in the smallest portion and find the trench I am talking about. I would route through that if you have it.
