yeah it’s super annoying. I’m considering swapping them for squadron pros. Not sure yet.

Cant say I blame you if there aren’t any other solid ditch brackets for your truck. If you use em you’ll sure miss the output.

Haha yea that’ll do the trick. Could relocate the XL80s to the bumper as well

I had Rigid 360 6 inch lights (3 pounds each) installed with SDHQ mounts and they shook and vibed. The XL's I really like but at 2.45 pounds I'm concerned I'd find myself back in the same boat, hence the squadrons this time around at 12 ounces. Hate the shake!

I’ve got squadron pros and S1’s in the bumper already. The LP’s would go in front of the grill if I do it. I need to photoshop them on, to see how rediculous it will look before pulling the trigger.

Awesome looking truck. There’s a lot of space in the middle i think they’ll look really good.

The 4 pod holes in my bumper are filled with DD SS3 SAE pros one set selective yellow and one set 4k white. I also have a BD 40” hi-power light bar that I have to wire up. This is when I was making and welding the brackets on before line-x. The hi-power series of OnX6 bars are nasty bright, I wish they wouldn’t have discontinued them. This 40” has a power input on each side.

They looked rad! I mean RAD!
I drilled an extra hole in the SDHQ mount to beef up the support and while it helped, it still shook.
    Bummed. Don't mind the 4Runner. IMG_5467.jpg

They do look really good, sharp ride. So the SDHQ brackets mount to the hood hinge there?

Yes they mount to the hood hinge. I really wish someone made a direct bolt to the cowl. I think it would be more solid. In truth, my application was a bit out there, but I gave it a shot.

Thanks it’s been a great truck. Decided to keep and dump way too much money into it instead of ordering a new one. Just did all the suspension, steering, front axle truss, 4.10 gears, front power wagon e locker, all the lighting, line-x and some other things.

Your hood won't open with these mounted up though... will it?

The OnX6+ actually sits on the higher side of the output spectrum when they combined the lines. Ex. 30" OnX6 hi-power 35k lumens vs 30" OnX6+ 32k lumens vs 30" OnX6 22k lumens. When they got rid of the normal and hi-power bars and just went to the "+" they went on the higher side of the output spectrum. You're right... They were certainly awesome. I am just saying that if someone were to buy one of the newest offerings they aren't being terribly punished IMO.

No theres certainly nothing wrong with the onx6+ bars and I get not many people want to run two heavy power sources to one bar. The difference was greater in the 40” and longer bars since they required dual power inputs. My 40” hi-power is 46,600 lumens compared to the same plus bar at 38,900

I hope I don't come off like an asshat.

I am considering swapping my Rigid Radiance ditch lights for some Baja's. I'm happy with the Rigid's but I like the thought of a set of S1's or S2 Pro's.

My question is what is the difference in the S1's and S2 PRO's if the output is almost the same? I really like the usefulness of amber output but I see the S1 is only available in the wide cornering and I think I'd benefit from a spot or combo....my roof rack light throws enough area light now.

The S1 is a single led light that’s why it doesn’t come in a combo pattern. Personally I see no reason to spend the extra money on S2 pros over S1s unless you absolutely have to have a combo pattern beam. Having said that I have S2 pros on my harley because I wanted the combo pattern. I also have S1 wide cornering as supplemental ditch lights off the sides of my XL80 ditch lights.
