Apologies in advance if this was already discussed, tried searching this forum and came up empty.

My intention is to get the Squadron R sports in clear lens (probably combo) and then have the amber replacement lens ready for winter use. Can I assume that the lens can be swapped out from the front of the truck and bumper and I won't have to pull the fog light from behind the bumper to switch out the amber lens?

I'm going to wait until the gap bezel fix is available for purchase. Is it safe to assume it'll become available in late summer? I only want to install these once.

You will have to loosen the light and go from behind the bumper more than likely. I had to do that when I swapped lenses on my squadrons that are in my Pelfreybilt bumper. Didn't have to completely remove them, just loosen the base and turn them around pretty much.

No need to apologize. It depends on the Bumper you're using. If it's in the OEM bumper you can access the front by popping off the fog shroud. 12-15 and 16-17 Tacoma's have the shroud that is held on by a few plastic clips. It's 50/50 with aftermarket bumpers. As far as the bezel goes we are hoping to have something in the next 2-3 months. We are very busy here and are waiting on the time to get prototypes on the CNC machines. From there everything needs to be programmed for mass production.

question....I am going to eventually replace my fogs with your product (squadren pro's). will I be able to operate these with my normal fog light switch or will I need an additional aftermarket one?

You'll want the -R model. The Pro model isn't road friendly at all. But they hook up the same with the FPK offered on their site.

The lights will plug directly into the OEM fog connection and give you much more usable light without additional wiring inside the car or under the good. You're 100% good to go with the factory switch and wiring.

Thanks for the heads up. I just said pro because the lumens and price. But I won't be 100% pricing them out until I'm ready to buy. I'm putting a switch panel in the cubby hole for oba and rock lights, so was curious if I should buy a button preemptively for this too. Glad I dont need it :)

The Squadron-R Series will definitely be the best light for that location. The R is for Round Bezel which provides a cleaner installation.

Like you said, the Squadron-R Pro isn't street friendly with other traffic. It will provide an insane amount of light for off road use or on-road (when no one is around)

Our Squadron-R Sport is still very bright (at least 2-3x over OEM) and is more street friendly. It's still up to driver discretion.
