This is my current dilemma as well. Squadron Pro or Sport. Definitely want the combos. Personally not one to drive around with fog lights on, unless there is a reason; and I do live off the beaten path.

I went with the Pros in wide cornering in the fog light locations because I don’t drive around with my fog lights normally. I upgraded my low beams and get plenty of light for daily/city driving.

I wanted to have a bunch of light available to me but i didn’t want a bar or extra lights bolted on somewhere (however, later i also added ditch lights...). I’m very happy with my choice. I have a bunch of light at my disposal and the overall look of the front end is still clean, minimalistic. Wide cornering has the perfect balance between distance and spread. I’d recommend that pattern too.

Do you now (or ever plan to) have any additional lighting added to your truck that provides coverage at distance? If the answer is yes, go with the wide cornering pattern so that you can maximize the ditch fill that the wide cornering offers. Then for your extra lighting look to install something that offers some distance performance. If not, get the combo pattern so that you are able to get a little bit of foreground and additional depth lighting as well to maximize the overall performance with the lights that you do have.

If worse comes to worse you can always swap out the lenses too. That's one of the great things about Baja.

Yes, great point. Even though I was thinking about color choice, changing the lens for pattern opens up a whole new option. Obvious, but was not thinking about that. So, really the only decision is strength. Thanks for the input guys.

Squadron sports for me in the fog light location with Combo amber lenses. <---Edited

Quite frankly - with clear lenses they are too bright to be used in traffic. Even with the amber lenses I feel it's border line and don't use them in populated areas too much.

However, when getting out in the middle of no where it is awesome to have extra light! I have 2x 30" light bars too so I didn't need to go with Squadron Pros - but the Baja Designs are by far one of my favorite upgrades.

What are you going to be using the lights for? Are you looking for nearfield lighting or a combination or nearfield, midfield, and distance? The Wide Cornering pattern is great for nearfield lighting as well as poor conditions like fog, dust, snow, or rain. If you want a great all-in-one pattern the Driving/Combo will be best as it's a combination of our Spot and Wide Cornering pattern giving you a great Combo of nearfield, midfield, and distance lighting.

Both the Squadron Sport and Squadron Pro are great lights and will offer much more usable light than the factory fogs. The Sport Pair will provide at least 2-3x the usable light over OEM and the Pro Pair will exceed 4-5x the usable light. Please note that neither PRO or SPORT are street legal or DOT approved. The Squadron Sport in Wide Cornering (Amber or White) is considered street friendly as we have many customers using them without issue.

I'm looking for overall performance for bad weather or late at night. Regular fog lights don't do much for me. So, I'm thinking Combos. Just deciding if I want to set-up to the Pro's and pay the addition. Guess more light, more better.

I ordered a set of squadron-R sport wide ambers and the mount kit. Really looking forward to them.
I was tempted to go with the pro's. My ride home has an hour of rough single and narrow 2 lane track, some unpaved and the rest badly paved with sharp lava rock on the verges (ancient rock walls are protected) and rocks and running water, feral pigs, goats, deer and free range cattle walking or lying on the roadway. I drive it late at night, and there is very little traffic. Sometimes I run the 30" lightbar behind my bumper, but need quick action to kill them if a truck shows up around a corner. Hoping the Sports fill in down low & to the sides, especially in the heavy rain we get. The stock fogs don't do much.

If you're looking for performance in poor conditions I'd recommend the Amber color. Wide Cornering will be optimal for poor conditions. Our Driving/Combo will give you some extra distance that will compliment the OEM headlights.

Where are you all finding switches that fit in the stock blank switch locations. Looking for switches to fit next to the A-track and USB locations.

Any one have pictures in these locations?

Correct! The OnX6 40" Hi-Power is a Dual Power (2 cord) light bar that will require 2 Wiring Harnesses. We do recommend the 640119 harness for that light bar:

Take look at our RTL-M (mini) version. It's perfect for 3rd brake light applications or situations where you only need 6" of light vs a 30" RTL.

    Hi Bailey,
I bought the Squadron-R Sport Kit with mounting brackets last year and notice they now come with a filler panel.
Can I buy the filler separate?

    Thanks!
