Wow, I just ordered some Squadron Sports last week. Did I get these new 2260 Lumens upgraded ones?

By the way, I have no tracking number and I have a 5 mile drive to the post office and would like to know when I can expect them. The discount code is very nice. :)

Man you guys are sneaky! Checked out the S8's I ordered back in Sept and installed on my wifes truck and also the following order a few weeks later for a customer and they are all the yellow base. My older S8's (about a year old) on our 4runner are all the silver base.

Question for you all.. I just acquired another Onx6 30". I need to purchase a harness and am wondering what harness would be best. I was looking at the 640115 and just wondering if that would be enough to run the light bar..

The power draw of the OnX6 30" starts at 175.5W which is over the recommended 150W max of the 640115 Wiring Harness. We don't recommend exceeding the ratings on our harnesses. Doing so might cause a connection to overheat, melt, and eventually worse. I'd recommend our 640118 harness to be safe:

Bailey, Looking at changing the lens on my round squadron sport lights. Only see ones for the square lights are these interchangeable with the round ones?

Yes they are. XLs are all XL. Regulars are all regular.

    Edit for reference.

Hey guys, I’m looking to build a custom bed rack for my rtt and I wanted to utilize the RTL 30 inch led strip for it when I get the bed rack complete. I was wondering if anyone has tried to wire one of these in yet? If so, roughly what all is expected wiring wise to get it set up? My hope was to have this be a third brake light as well as a turn signal set up.

    @Tdkrum5,

@RPS1030 is correct. Our Squadron Series Lens Kits will work on ALL Squadron Series Lights. This includes round, square, and flush mount applications. All of our replacement lenses can be found here:

If you email info@bajadesigns.com we can send you the mounting and wiring instructions! Included is a diagram that tells you what wires control what function on that light. Customers have wired these lights to the trail connection for a "plug and play" solution that can easily be removed. We don't have a How-to but a customer did a similar install with the RTL-M here:

Yea I will def have to check that out...although I wonder if I would have to splice into the turn signal wiring to get the turn signals to function?

You will need to splice or tap into the OEM turn signal wires. This can be done at the hitch for the trailer connections or at the taillight.

To my understanding, need the RTL-S for Turn Signals. I got one and it has a separate set of wires to control the 2 Ambers separately. The other side of the harness has the ground, tail lights, brake lights, and white light.

    Bailey,

First, congrats on the new gig.

    Secondly...
When did a miss the announcement of the RTL-M?

Someday I really hope I can get a RTL to put on the roof rack on the shell... I noticed the other day that my Rear brake light on the shell has some leds out.

    Thanks!

Sorry you missed the announcement! The RTL-M does have it's own thread here:

Also thought about using the RTL-M for when my camper shell brake light fails. Would be pretty cool!
