Got them mounted up today!! Super easy!! In my excitement I went ahead and ordered another set to replace my aging S2 sports on my ditch brackets. Thanks a bunch @Baja Designs for an awesome product! The quality and design of your lights is why I am going to an all BD set-up.

Question on the lights. What is the difference in the XL Sport and the Squadron Sport lights. They seem to have the same output. I have a set in my shopping cart but need to know that and also if I can have the diffuser lens that covers all four lights in the package I am ordering the kit for the 2017 4Runner. Thanks

The main difference is size. Squadron Series lights have a 3"x3" housing where the XL Series is 4.5"x4.5"

This results in the Squadron providing more nearfield lighting, where the XL has more distance thanks to the larger optics.

    Hope this helps :)

Will output/performance suffer at all for making it SAE?

Output/performance will be different due to the SAE approved beam. It'll be a completely different beam pattern than what you're used to seeing. Off-road performance might be reduced, but you're going to gain on-road usability and safety
