If it's going to be your only forward facing light then I'd opt to configure the outside sections in wide cornering and the center section as a combo. (Wide/combo/wide).

I'm currently running that on my lower Onx6 30" and I really like it. Wide and even distribution of light with a nice spot in the middle for a little more distance.

As for color, pick your preference. Some situations I prefer my all clear, others I prefer my Amber. I will say however, the Amber definitely seems to help with eye fatigue.

I have a question for @Baja Designs . I have an older 15” onx6 light bar, I am in need of the mounting brackets since for the last several years it was mounted to a roll bar on my Gator that was recently totaled in a flood. Would it be possible to purchase these alone? Thanks in advance!

Give us a ring at 800-422-5292, we might have the old OnX 15" brackets. Or email info@bajadesigns.com and we'll reply with what we have.
Getting caught up after the holiday, we'll do our best to respond ASAP

I've been thinking of putting a set of the squadron pros spot pattern in my headlights I'm building with rx350 projectors

How is the distance of the pro's compared to a set of retrofits

I'm not a retrofit expert by any means.....but I'd say your main problem here would be over heating the squadron pros. They have massive heat sinks on the rear of the light that dissipates the heat generated by the LEDs. If you contain them inside a headlight you'd either over heat the squadrons or melt the headlight lens. Just something to think about.

Good point I did not think about.

    Back to the drawing board

I just ordered a 30" S8 light bar and harness. I was wondering if its possible to use two custom ch4x4 oem push switches for the light. One for the main led and one for the backlit feature?

No problem....or you can wire the back lights into your DRL circuit and have them come on automatically

Thanks! I have an empty switch slot so figured I would do that. Also the Baja designs switch for the main led on the S8 doesnt have a dimmer etc? Confused reading the harness's description.

Dimmer for the switch backlights or a dimmer for the S8? If you want your ch4x4 switch to dim with your dash lights you need to tap two wires.

I am referring to the Main led. Just was wondering what the switch looks like for the main led for the S8 wiring harness. Wanna make sure that by using a normal on and off switch I am not loosing any features for the main S8 led. It states dimmer in the wiring harness but idk if that is a feature of the S8 or not. I hope that is not a dumb question.

Ok I think I understand. I can't answer that without looking at the wiring harness. But shoot me a pm if you want any help when you go install it.

That’s what I want to do with the S8 I have on order. I want to have the back lit feature come on when my low beams come on. Is that was you did?

A little more complicated than that. Your drls have two settings .high and low. High comes on when just your DRLs are on....daytime. Low comes on when your headlights are on....night time. I tapped both wires and used two diodes to make the S8 work with either day or night. If you only wanted it to turn on with the headlights it'd be easy to tap just one wire. I'm headed to the office to get my work computer, I can make a few diagrams later if I have time .

I'm gonna call you Diode King! You helped me with the RTL wiring and this explains the DRL situation.
