    BD LENS COMPARISON

    I get a lot of PMs in regard to the different lens patterns offered by Baja Designs and how they show up in the real world. I tried to give a quick demonstration of this. I understand it's not perfect conditions, and I only did it as a one-take (aka ZERO editing), but it should give you a rough idea of what you're working with when shopping.

    CLIFFS NOTES:
    • The beginning of the video is all black for about 20 seconds. This is just me explaining what you are about to see (like I said... 1 take :))
    • The furthest tree that the spot pattern lights up is approximately 200ft away. The first bundle of pine trees is about 80ft away (paced out - my range finder decided to be dead)
    • Don't mind the Slender-Man character in the photos :rofl:. It was difficult enough talking her into standing out there. Subject is standing approximately 80 feet from the camera
    • The video was shot with a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and the automatic settings were all left on. The camera stills were taken with fixed settings
    • The spot pattern absolutely puts more light downrange, but I didn't want to overexpose the photos. You can see the distant tree showing up though for sure
