@memario1214 colton if I have a harness that is plugged in to my S8 20” with on/off and mode for the backlight can I just upgrade to an Onx6 + 20” and just plug in to my existing harness? Aka unplug my S8 and then plug in the Onx6 and be good with no extra work.

if so I’ll pm you for a quote. Thanks dude.

I guess also while I’m asking, how much better is the Onx6? Like wayyyyyyyyy better?

edit: oh and it’s a BD supplied harness.

This is an interesting question, and I am 90% sure that the answer is yes. On bars under 30" the plug-in process is exactly the same. One same-type plug. The 640122 harness which is what I assume you have has the claim to fame of allowing backlit/dimmer functionality aka mode functionality. The only difference between that one and the other one for the lerger OnX bars is a splitter and a slightly larger gauge.

Let's just say this... If you do decide to get a bar and I am wrong I will make it as easy as possible for you to get that other harness.

As for the discussion as to whether or not the OnX6 is worth the upgrade... It has 2x the raw lumens at high power! You won't get twice the usable light out of it due to the limitations of the optics, but you should be enjoying a large improvement over an S8 (this makes me realize that I should do a comparison of all of these).

    Gotcha!

Thanks for getting back Colton. Spoke with someone at BD. They said the harness I have will work for on/off for an Onx6, but since the Onx6 doesn’t have the backlit feature that switch wouldn’t do anything anymore.

they also said if I wanted to be able to dim the Onx6 I’d have to switch harnesses. Probably still throw you a pm to see what prices are like for future items. Thanks again

Got my S2 Sport wide angle flush mounts installed in my mobtown bumper today. Can't say enough about the customer service from both @memario1214 and Baja designs! Product shipped quick, one light was missing the screw pack but Colton reached out to Baja and they overnighted the parts.
