Bailey - Indeed a useful video, but a perfect example of the lack of CAREFUL documentation; that video does not mention or show anything to do with how the 'padding' for the tabs might be installed/used/required.

The video was before the foam was included. I have forwarded your previous post to our product development team who handles instructions.

Could you say here exactly how the foam is to be used? Per instructions you are to cut it into 4 pieces. Assuming one for each tab. But looking at the tabs and how they fit in the slots, I'm at a loss as to what the foam is supposed to do and therefore exactly how it should be placed on the tab.

    Thanks!

The foam is designed to be cut into 4 pieces and applied onto the "ears" or tabs on the stainless bracket. From there you have to compress the foam while sliding the "ears" or tabs into the mounting location. When this is done it prevents vibration. This image might be a little clearer showing where to apply the foam:

Thank you. I suppose it should have been clear to compressed the foam and slip into the tab. I suppose its time to remove and re-install as the stability would be helpful. And BTW, those instructions are fine; similar, but not what I received.

I like these lights but considering these are street friendly...I think not! These are not bright, these are stupid bright lol. Even with it tilted all the way down with the wide Cornering lense, these things spread light like no other. Don’t get me wrong, these lights would be great for off-road use and for off-road use only. Now to look for some pods...

I recently purchased and received my Squadron r sports with fog pocket kit and installed the lights today. Is it possible I was sent two sets of brackets for the drive side? I was unable to install the passenger side light as described in the instructions. Instead I had to flip the passenger light to have the heat sinks on the bottom for the mounts to work. I tried many different combinations but the brackets would not work. it seems they should be reversed for the passenger side. Has any had this issue? Am I nuts? I can post I pictures if need be to better explain. @Baja Designs please help!

It sounds like we accidentally sent you an incorrect set. Please send our customer service team an email (info@bajadesigns.com). Include as many details as possible and we'll get you a new set.

Is there any set up yet that is plug and play for an ARB summit bumper on the 3rd gen? I'm itching so badly to have some yellow fogs from BD!

We don't have anything designed to be Plug and Play but some of our products could work. Do you have photos of how the fog lights are mounted in the housing?

I'm not 100% sure if this is correct (quick google search):

If so, with a little modifications, the following kit could work:

It's hard to say without seeing the product in person or having detailed measurements but the mounting styles are very similar.

Installed mine this morning. I tried the foam, but just couldn't make it work (too thick) so I made a few wraps of electrical tape to make the tabs fit snug.

Really easy install the hardest part is probably getting to the tabs to get the truck's black shroud around the fogs off. The bezel isn't a snug fit to the shroud but I don't think the stock fogs fit snug either.

    Installed Squadron Sport with Yellow Combo;
Foam worked as described, I've also added a hole to the bumper and a ziptie on the bottom outside as well.
Re-wired the BD harness to use CH4x4 switches, Relays, and add-a-fuse from the high beam circuit.

Maybe we are looking at different products, but the first post on this thread says that these are Not DOT approved and are illegal to use on the road.
