Still a decent photo showing the range and brightness.

Sorry for the delay. Theses were just half assed I probably could of done a little better. I used the DJI mavic pro, but fuck DJI, their products are buggy as hell and they don't stand behind their product even when it doesn't work out of the box.

As far as night shots go you're going to need to do full manual. I wouldn't go to high on the ISO because its gonna look horrible. As far as focus goes, DJI is once again dog shit. Even if you go to manual focus it will focus a mile past infinity which makes zero sense. If you can get it to focus at all make sure you go to manual so it'll hold it.

    Good luck.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way about DJI. I hate them as a company. I'll never give them another dollar.

Went from 3rd Gen Taco to 3GT4R to 2nd Gen Taco and finally a V8 4GT4R.
Can’t wait for mine to come in. Coming from cheap auxbeam side shooters I’m excited to see what the more expensive options can do!

QQ - for those who are running these off switch panels - where did you have to cut the wiring harness in order to put onto the switch panel (i.e. sPod, Auxbeam, etc)

    SPod --- wire --- lights

Your sPod controls the lights....so you only need to hook up the 12v hot and ground from the sPod directly to the lights. I'd recommend you ask someone to help you with it.

So I’m going to be adding an S1 to each side of my roof rack for scene lighting. Am I better off buying two singles if I want to power them separately rather than buying a pair? I’m assuming the harness is different between a single and pair.

Buy a pair. The singles don't come with a harness at all. Plus the pair is like $10 cheaper or something.

Good to know. I figured they might have come with a harness for just a single light. But if they don't i'll go with the pair and put my own together

Anyone have any pictures of the harness? How long is it? Does it use a relay or just a switch because of the low draw?

I can get you some pics tomorrow. Tag me in this thread or PM me tomorrow evening in case I forget.

I can tell you that it's approx 13ft and it is just a switch and an inline fuse. No relay.

Awesome! Thanks a bunch. I’m wiring them to my aux fuse block and each light will be on a separate switch so I’ll probably only be using the plugs from the harness.

Unless your use case is simple ditch or front bumper light setup these harness aren't much good IMO. You'll have plugs with bared leads in the box as well. I would just use them if I were you. However, the purchase of a pair is still cheaper so you want to go that route!

I’m using them for scene lights. One will be mounted to each side of my roof rack. My fuse block is in the back seat and the switches are by the shifter. So power will come from the back seat to the shifter area, and then back out the grommet in the back of the cab and up to the roof.

Just gonna run one single lead out to them, or will you be occasionally turning them on independent of one another?
