Any night pics of the wide cornering throw? I already picked them over the other pattern but would like to see /hear from someone with them installed

I am installing them right now. They're pretty damn bright still. My roommate described them as 'I would hate driving in front of you' right.

When I first installed then, I aimed them plumb which resulted in glare being thrown far out and above my low beam HID's. These need to be angled down to avoid pissing people off. Insanely bright tho.

Mine are level now. I really don't think aim them down any will take away the glare.

Down about 5 degrees cut the glare enough to be less than the drl's above the headlamp cutoff, while still providing useful light throw for use as fog lamps.

Nice job on the install! They look great in there.

For anyone else considering these lights, they are not DOT approved or street legal. With that being said we have MANY customers running the Squadron-R Sport in Wide Cornering (Amber or White) with no issues.
This beam provides a very smooth, wide, horizontal pattern in the near field area and is great for fog, snow, rain, dust, etc. It's up to driver discretion when using the sports on the street. We don't recommend running the Pros unless there is NO traffic around. The Sports are at least 2-3x the usable light over OEM where the Pros exceed 4-5x.

If anyone has questions please let me know! don't forget we offer a 10% discount to members if you call in!

    Thank You,

Here is a video a customer put up on youtube showcasing the Squadron-R Sports in Amber Wide Cornering.

NOTE: Sport series lights now come with Black Bezel instead of silver

So I installed my Squadron R Sport (Amber wide cornering) in place of the factory fog tonight.

In my case my plug and play harness was black and brown, the black wire ran from truck white to the black on the light, very straight forward.

This install helped a ton, thank you!

The wide cornering doesn't have quite the periphery of the factory fogs, but it is more useable, and the light quality is much improved.

    BD for the win!!!

I got mine installed yesterday. Thanks OP for the tip using the zip tie. I used a screw and bolt instead to secure it, without doing that it was pretty wobbly. I also got the brown and black wire harness. You can see from the picture how I wired it up. But that gap  had I known it looked like that from the side I might not have gotten them. They do look nice from the front though. 20170614_163428.jpg 20170615_095255.jpg 20170614_183349.jpg 20170614_183451.jpg 20170614_183446.jpg

We have developed a prototype fix. This is still a few months out. Most likely 1-3 months. I will update everyone as more info becomes available. At this time I'm not sure how much the price will increase. Also we haven't determined an upgrade price for existing customers. It would most likely be in the same range as our lens kits, rock guards, and other accessories. Updates will be posted in the following threads:

Are you aware of the subtle difference in the Canadian 3rd gens? I've seen pictures side by side and the housing is a little different.

We are not aware of any differences between the US 3rd Gen and the Canadian 3rd Gen. This fix would be for all vehicles our (447110) kit works on.

    12-15 Tacoma
    16-17 Tacoma
    10-17 4Runner
    14-17 Tundra

This would be a replacement bezel that bolts onto the front of the light and replaces the Round Squadron-R bezel.

I looked at the gap and found out a way to fix it - I bought a bumper :)

Installed my kit, super easy install. I also drilled an extra hole for extra support. Glad I read this thread for that tip!
