@Baja Designs my BD squadron sport fogs didn’t come with the foam piece. Can I just go to Home Depot and by double sided foam?

We don't compete with dealers and can only offer 10% OFF MSRP + $5 shipping to the lower 48. If you see it cheaper, buy away! :)

Sorry! email info@bajadesigns.com if you'd like us to send you some.

Home Depot stuff may work, but we'd rather send you the correct stuff (if you can wait)

I just bought last month from Bailey, after all the help he gives it’s worth the extra $$ to get the right stuff. I looked through most of the Amazon kits- some had the right part numbers but the reviews were full of ‘didn’t include’ etc etc..

Bailey took care of my order this first time, and then again two years later.

    Would buy again..

I couldn't get the foam to work so I wrapped the tabs with a couple layers of electrical tape. You're just trying to to make the tabs fit snug in their spots to reduce vibration.

Has anyone calculated the LUX rather than the lumens? Just because the light has more lumens than stock does NOT mean it's a better solution. I have swapped HID lights back to halogen on other cars because the OEM bulbs throw light farther, not whiter. Anyone?

Yes. But keep in mind this also has to do with beam pattern. Putting HIDs in a halogen light assembly does not focus the beam and scatters light everywhere resulting in poor distance projection. These lights are designed for the LED light source, so they don't unintentionally scatter but they distribute the light differently depending on the beam pattern selected. Given 2 identical lights with the same raw lumens, one being wide cornering lens and the other being spot lens, the spot lens will produce significantly higher lux as the light is focused in an isolated spot for maximum distance projection. The wide cornering, while producing the same amount of light, distributes the light in all directions to create a wall of light, but in doing so has lower lux readings in any given spot as the light is more distributed and will not project as far. You can get a compromise of both by using BD's innovative combo pattern which uses half the LEDs for each pattern in a single pod. Note none of these beam patterns are appropriate for street use.

I ordered mine from 4x4truckleds.com. Possibly not the cheapest, didn't check anywhere else, but the guy answered my questions very quickly on Amazon and the shipping was super fast.

Question...on the directions it says to place the serrated washers in between the light housing and the bracket. Would you not want to place the washers in between the bolt and bracket? Anyone installed these that can provide clarification? Thanks.

Everyone I have seen install them, placed the washers in between the bolt and bracket. That’s what I’m going to do.

You have any good links on how to connect all the wires and adapters? All the videos I’ve seen don’t show step by step videos.

    Anything will help. Thx

Go to YouTube and search Baja Design Squadron Sport install. You will find some videos that will walk you through the install. Hope that helps.

I would follow directions, especially since the serrated washers are used to cause friction between the lamp housing and the bracket - to keep the lamp in position and from moving around. Putting it between the bracket and the bolt as a lock washer isn't what it was designed for. Put some lock-tite on the bolts instead.
