Baja Designs Squadron Sport WC

I'm interested in purchasing the Baja Designs Squadron Sport WC (https://www.bajadesigns.com/products/Toyota-Tacoma-Tundra-4Runner-Squadron-Sport-WC.asp). What are your thoughts on this? How is the light output of this compared to the OEM? Pics would be nice. Also do you use it on the street or solely off-road? @Baja Designs

 

I’ve got Squadron sports with combo lens on amber wired into the high beams. They are great.

I wouldn’t point them at anyone.

 

Are there adjustment screws to tweak the angle?

 

You can adjust up and down on the bracket but it’s pretty limited. I wouldn’t want to be driving into them- you be getting flashed pretty constant.

But I never drove around with fogs on so it didn’t matter to me to rewire them.

 

I have the sport and drive through LA freeways everyday. Haven’t got high beamed yet.

 

I have the sports in amber and believe they are too bright to use unless it is bad out (snow, fog, heavy rain). When another car passes in the other direction, I can clearly see their face light up in yellow.

That being said, I am very happy with my purchase as I only run them in bad weather and wouldn't trade them for another option.

I think there was some chatter that BD was going to release a dot compliant fog light option. If you can't wait and want to know about other options, there's a big comparison thread on legal fog lights in the lighting forum here. Very informative.
