    used to see it when i was a kid when my dad would watch it. those were the good days of snl, now it sucks.

    They were the good old days of SNL! No matter what party we were at, we would always stop to watch... I couldn't see that today! Good luck with your radio! They are Soooooo much better than the CB thang!

    Before you do it - I have a mount for you - I'm not going to use it - It's one you could mount in your bed... The only problem is that they like to have a ground plane. :confused:

    I'll look for a picture of the mount.

    Ham Radio Outlet has a cheap mag mount too.

    i was thinking about mounting it to the truck box, don't have a place for a mag mount.

    Looks like this and it's yours if you want it.

    You could take it off that little black box and mount it directly in a 3/4" hole in your tool box - they have an o-ring so you would still be dry.
