Bought a Bak Revolver X2 in November 2016, for my 2017 Tacoma DCSB. I have been very happy with it, until a few weeks ago when the right side latch decided to stop working. When you pulled on the cord, the cord moved, but not the latch. The driver side was fine.

I decided to email Bak customer service (support@bakindustries.com) on Aug. 22, describing my problem, and to ask how to get the cover fixed. I also emailed warranty@bakindustries.com, on Aug 23, after finding that email address also.

As of today, Aug 29, I have not even received any acknowledgements, or replies to my emails.

In the meantime, I dropped into the selling dealer, who had one of his guys take apart the assembly to find out the retaining clip holding the wire cord to the latch had come loose due to a poorly crimped clip. He fixed it no charge.

I am just surprised that Bak has not even bothered to reply after a week. The dealer is surprised also.
