Hello. First post here, still doing my homework and hoping to benefit from other's experience.

Have 2014 TRD DblCab 4x4 6.2 long bed, bed mat, Napier SportZ 57 bed tent, 10ft kayak and ordered Syppo OEM style roof rack.

Walking by new tacos the factory tonneau has me doing a double take a lot. My previous 2004 I had the factory vinyl tonneau and they did not wear well. Going on three years now without a tonneau. What I have found so far is they are factory only or pieced together makes them expensive.

Looking at the folding hard BAK F1 and a tailgate lock (with camera).

Is it over kill on the F1 or could I be just as happy with a model costing less? Gloss black doesn't sound like my preference but the F1's FRP fiberglass dent and ding resistant does.

Does pop and lock tailgate lock look like original?

Your preference of cover is mostly going to decide on how you use your bed. I had the BAK F1 on my last truck and it was great. All the trucks at work either have that or the Undercover version of it.

It held up to everything I did to it plus it was really nice to have a hard cover that folded so far up and barely lose any bed space to it.

So I bought another one for my current truck to replace my solid one piece cover. Totally worth it to me.

Thanks I love it so far , so far been through 2 rain storms and it hasn't leaked . Drove about 25 miles the other day in moderate rain and the bed was dry .
