    Hey Ya'll!

I recently installed a bakflip G2 on my truck. I love the "security" of out of sight, out of mind mentality.

With that said, is there a bedrack or bed bar that is compatible with the Bakflip? Even if folded up?

Nope....and if you can find one let me know because I've been looking. I have the MX4. KB Voodoo has a brackets compatible with other bed covers but isn't interested in making ones for Bakflip

    Who said we weren't interested?

We already have them designed, we just need to find time to test them.

Looks awesome. I had asked about 6 months ago but the response was not at this time. Didn’t hear much more even when others asked. Glad you guys have these made.

To my knowledge, these are the only two guys to pull it off:

Quicksand truck had a bed rack custom fabbed to bolt onto the top of the bed rail. There is some sort of a mounting plate under the bed caps that he said is easy to get to. I don't believe he utilized the bed rail system at all.

MGM truck cut the bed rail caps so the MX4 would sit flush, under the bed rack mount. I think he had to extend the Voodoo mounts with customc brackets for to the relocation of the bed rail system. This is the route I plan to go with.

About to post up when I saw my truck up there (the MGM). No custom mounts needed - I used the normal Voodoo mounts. Just needed to trim the rail as shown above, plus the plastic bed cap. Still have it this way and works well.

@KB Voodoo - let me know if you need a guinea pig to test those new brackets. In the winter when I need the dry storage space, I swap everything out for a second set of un-modified bed caps and remove the rack. Would be nice to be able to skip that part.

I was also looking at the Dissent bed rack, thinking it might possibly fit under the MX4. I haven't seen any close-ups of how the rack is mounted though. And it only comes in cab height.

Probably depends on if the MX4 mounting bracket along the bed rail can be mounted on top of the Dissent mount. Even if the mounts all lined up and fit on top of each other, it would make for a tight fit to get the top to close.

When this test gets done, I have a feeling I’m going to be handing over some more money. Can’t wait

Yup this is the same response when I asked voodoo if they had a bracket that worked with my bakflip

"Our best suggestion would be to ditch that cover and get one that works with our racks."
