    Hey everyone,

I've been looking over the various forums trying to piece things together but I'm hoping this will help complete the picture. I have a 2019 Tacoma with a Bakflip G2 cover. I purchased the truck with the cover on it used and after some research I'm discovering it may not be the best option even though I like it.

I need to haul two kayaks as well as two bikes on a semi-regular basis and I'm looking for the best way to go about it. It would be rare that I'm hauling 2 kayaks and 2 bikes at the same time but the occassion may arise. It's boils down to the fact that I bike regularly and I love the privacy that the Bakflip provides with being able to lock the flatbed up while I'm gone. With that being said I don't want a bike rack in the tailgate and overbed rack options are limited because of the cover.

What are some people doing so I can get some help thinking through options here?

I feel your pain. I have the factory tonneau, and also like to carry bikes and kayaks. Easiest option that doesn’t mess with the cover would be a multi-sport trailer like Yakima, Malone, Etc. That works well if wherever you are going you have room to park a trailer.
Besides that I have resigned myself to have either the tonneau or a Rola ladder rack and a tailgate pad. I can change between the tonneau or rack in under 10 mins.

I thought about a Prinsu Roof Rack with J-Hooks for the 2 kayaks and maybe a tailgate pad for the bikes but that's a lot of weight to be hositing on the roof of the cab. I also looked at Billie Bars but I don't want to have to unscrew the bars everytime I want access to the bed through the Bakflip cover.

I've also thought of a trailer but I lack an area to keep it at the house and a lot of the trails I ride have limited areas for parking.
