I don't think mine says anything. Hmm....does the OEM say Tacoma?

All tops are going to leak. Do your best by getting inside and looking for light spots when it's dark with a flashlight, then seal with silicone. Then get a bed mat so the water goes under. Should take care of 95% of your issues.

Another alternative that the Real Truck rep showed me at SEMA last year was this: https://www.realtruck.com/bak-revolver-x2-tonneau-cover/

    He said it was better.

I saw that one but spoke to a rep at real truck yesterday and they said since I'm in NY and have cold winters water can freeze in the channels it will still function but he said it can be more difficult to roll

so I've got the X2 and it's great......and I live in MN, so we get proper winter.....and this is totally a thing. The snow melts until the cover and it basically freezes shut. It's not impossible to get back open, but you've got to muscle it a bit, especially at -20F. I'm thinking of hardwiring some of those heater strips to the heated mirror button up front and then permanently installing them under the tonneau rails. Then when I hit the heated mirror button it'll defrost the tonneau
