I had an 2021 Sport that got totaled last year and recently replaced it with a 2022 Sport. I saved my Bakflip MX4 to use on the new truck, which came with a factory tonneau. I asked the dealer to remove the factory tonneau for a lower price, which he did. Now when I put the MX$ on the 2022, there are gaps where the factory tonneau was. Anyone know of fix for this? Thanks.PXL_20220419_201259357.jpg PXL_20220419_201243544.jpg

the toyota cover needs those cutouts, the dealer should have taken them off whatever truck they put the cover on and given them to you.

The dealer took the cover off but not sure if they even have a truck with a 6ft bed to put it on. So they had nothing to give me. I might just have to 3d print a piece to fit in the gaps and seal with black silicone.

"Google" BAM Wholesale Parts.com then enter your trucks information. Then enter in the search box, "truck bed rail cap" Buy you the left & right side. Before you put them on run a bead of silicone on the top of the bed rails. Fricking BAM is the only site I have seen that will not let a man post a link or I darn sure would of brother.

They are over $100 each so brace yourself. lol

Factory bed rails are cut for the oem tonneau cover. You'll need to order new caps.

My caps do not have removable inserts for the factory tonneau cover. The cap is modified. Go back to the dealer and ask them to replace these as well.
