Fingers crossed that someone has a solution to my issue. I bought a bedrock for my RTT and the guy assured me that I would be able to use it with my Bakflip. Well, he was incorrect. He didn’t look into the cover at all prior to saying yes yes we will make it work. Basically the brackets for the bed rack Attached to where the OEM Tacoma track is in the box. Unfortunately with the bakflip You have to relocate the track. I won’t go into how horrific of problems I’ve had, but I’m wondering if there are modified brackets so that it can fit where that track is supposed to be? He moved my track back up to where it originally was, and took apart my bakflip And then made new brackets that don’t work at all. He also caught a bunch of slots for it to fit well over his brackets that hold the bed rack on, but unfortunately didn’t cut them in the right spots so I will probably have to replace those two pieces of hardware. Sadly, the money is all gone, looking for a solution that doesn’t involve buying a new cover!
In one of the photos, you can see the bracket that he fabricated, but it is super thick and the hole was put in the wrong place, causing the cover to sit elevated (second photo)

    thanks!

So which rack and which cover specifically? That looks like an Xtrusion Overland rack. I have one if it is. Mine is an XTR1 vs yours that looks like an XTR3 though. I have a Bak Revolver cover that I kept mislabeling as a Bakflip. Xtrusion has brackets that will work. I had to do some back and forth with them to get the correct ones. I also had to cut some notches in my bed cover rails.

It’s exactly like xtrusion overland rack…. sure will catch up to them soon enough that they have copied somebody’s rack. It was made by a company here in British Columbia Canada, but he had absolutely no instructions for me when I put it together. Then came the problems…nobody said anything about Loctite and I had never heard of Loctite so of course things vibrated and loosened, and he had to build a new rack. At which point he realized that with the Bakflip cover, the track is relocated (Had he looked up the cover to make sure that it actually would work with his rack he would have known that). I did contact xtrusion this am to See if they had a solution to the backflip problem and they said only if it was a rolling cover, not the folding type. So very frustrating!!

Ya, not too many folding covers will work with a rack. I had an OEM cover with a KB Voodoo rack for a bit. It kept my gear secure but I hated having to crawl under it to get stuff out. The Revolver was my fix.
