Bald Mountain Loop Shaver Lake, CA

Spent the day and night on the Bald Mountain Loop Trail this past weekend. Didn't make it to the top back in June due to Snow. Made it this time and did the entire Loop. Front is a difficulty rating of 4-5 and the back side is 6-7 (so they say). Amazing trip. The new Taco DC OR did amazing.

 

awesome pics man, just attempted the Dusy last weekend and we didnt make it due to drive line/steering failures... havent hit up bald mountain yet but looking forward to it next year

 

That's a fun trail...I did it a few years ago in my father in laws Rhino. Thanks do sharing the pics.

 

i have to hit bald mtn again before the snow begins. i haven't gone the other from the top but when i went, we just got to the tower and head back down. i have been wanting to give a try going to the right from the tower.

i'm down within a few weeks, just gotta put my buddies truck back together and he wants to hook up his arb front too.

i've always wanted to go there.

 

Nice, bald is awesome, we camped up there when we did Swamp lake trail, the views are spectacular to say the least!

 

I love Shaver Lake, ca. We usually camp up in Huntington Lake and love all the surrounding areas. done a lot of the trails up in huntington, but have not tried any of the trails near or around shaver
