bald tires at 23,000 miles?!? what do i do?

I see in your pics, You've had the Leaf Spring TSB Done. Recently? They're supposed to Align after New Leafs, as part of the TSB. Thought I'd bring it up, If You had it done a long time ago.
I have a TRD Sport and I find it a "Drifty" on the HiWay. I had the Springs TSB done last week and they Didn't Align it !!! Going in Thur for Alignment. Hope It helps my Drift

 

You would be lucky to get 40k out of OEM tires.....

I got 45K out of my original set of tires. Lots of racing on those tires too

 

Just wondering.....
Some Dunlops have decent mileage then others of the same model have less than expected.
Could it be the manufacturing plant?..... like some are made in Japan, USA, hecho en Mexico and so forth. I never checked mine.

 

I got about 40k out of the stock rugged trails. I guess I am lucky to have gotten 40k. Is it just me or are tires expensive these days?

 

I don't think there is anything "wrong" with the tires. Road surface and driving style have waaaaay more to do with it. I just eclipsed the 20k mark on the stock dunlops and they look fine.

 

Never had good luck with Dunlop tires...had them on two vehicles and replaced before they were done. They hydroplaned way to easy for my liking.

I say buy new tires if the wallet can afford it...doesn't seem fair, but it is the way it is.

I doubt fighting the tire company will yield much result...probably a lot of frustration and wasted effort. They don't need to sell you another set of tires....Toyota and others are keeping them in the black.
