So my ballpoint gave out while making a u turn, after setting up an appointment for the repair at my buddy’s shop he told me to go to the local Napa auto parts and get the replacement part. After buying the lower ball joint which I thought I needed I came to find out that it’s not the same one that’s on the truck! I also thought maybe they flipped the ball joints so the lower would be the upper and vice versa, but that’s not the case. I figured the truck has a drop so it could be an after market ball joint? So I’m not sure what to do? Any help would be appreciated!

I've heard that there are aftermarket ball joints for lowered trucks (a flipped LBJ or something)....maybe you have one of those kits

5 lug suspension parts are completely different then 6lug. Go over to the street truck or 5 lug section if you ever need suspension help. Most guys here are 6 lug guys
