Ball joint update

    Here is my update.Went back out this morning and tried everything you guys suggested.Around 2 hours laters that tie rod still would not drop.I said F it and called a local mobil mechanic.He came over and said no problem, I can get it out in 5 minutes. A halve hour later he was still banging away.He finally asked if I wanted to save the tie rod and I said no.He was thinking about cutting it off but finally got it with a pickle fork and hammer. Its all done and he charged me $200.00 for both ball joints and both tie rods. Thanks everyone for trying to help me out!

    My bad.....we should of told you could always get it apart by little heat....
    and then ramming/wedging the fork in.......
    Brutal....but works......guess we are all in 'save the boot' bs mode....

    sorry....brain fart......wont ever happen again......

    I keep a fork on hand.....but have used it for all other uses but that......
    turns out they're very useful....
