    Is my commuter/bike carrier.
Since the truck is in advanced age and definitely needs struts/ball joints.
I'm not looking into any upgrades/taking it off road or anything like that just want it to work as long as possible as I like more and more everyday.
Found ball joints from Replacement Parts which are really cheap I comparison to Moog etc. Are there any issues with them? Does anyone have any opinions/eperiences?

The other question is about the strut/shock assembly. I will be doing work by myself and it is the first time so that is the only reasonable way for me as I'd like to avoid that spring hitting me or in the worst case scenario my Taco:) I've found Monroe. Question is the same as with ball joints. Any hurt feelings/dissapointment/issues with those?

Going cheap as bike takes an arm and a leg...:)

Any and all responses much appreciated.

When it comes to something that holds the wheels to your vehicle you definitely don't want to "cheap out". Oem ball joints is the best most reliable way to go in this department and will be recommended by most guys running them with experience.

Why go with OEM? is it really worth the extra money?.....15005721185_2cab79126f_b.jpg

At the very least I would go with the moog/555. They don't last as long as Oem but they are not total junk compared to the other aftermarket/China lbj's out there.

If your interested in learning more about this topic here is a good thread with other threads listed through out.

I replaced in My v6 2 weeks ago : struts assembly (Monroe), inner and outer tired rods (Moog 555), rear shocks ( Klimeo), lower ball joints (moog 555).

easy to replace all after watching a few videos from YouTube and finding out the right torque specks for everything.
I drive more them 100 miles a day, and everything is fine and tight so far.

I didn't buy OEM lower ball joints because of the price. It costs around 130.00 for each side from Dealership. I intend to replace for oem ball joints in 6 months just to have peace of mind, even knowing that some tacoma word members have been using moog BJ for years with no issues.

If u go moog ball joints, buy oem bolts, because the ones coming in the moog box are shorter than OEMs.
