Just check them once in a while. Depends upon your miles driven. I think another post on this thread said they check them with every oil change, which is a good idea if you already have the floor jack out. They might not last as long as the original ones did, but they probably won't fall apart tomorrow (and does O'Reilly give a lifetime warranty like Autozone?) I've got the AC Delco from RockAuto on one side which has a zirk fitting and still passes the crow bar test after 20k miles. I'm just not expecting it to last the 140k like the original.

Well just got the moogs from rock auto. Sure enough the are stamped: 555 but more importantly I think - they say made in Japan. So I feel pretty confident installing them. Just that OEM is so expensive.....

I hear ya. I think they are only a 2 year warranty. I keep a close eye on things like that so I'm sure they'll be fine.

Put them in and rock them. Japan made Three Five are the winner in the 'comes in a Moog box' lottery.

My jack-up-the-front-end-and-check interval is every other oil change, with synthetic oil and a 5k interval so every 10,000 miles the front end gets a good physical shake and pry. Obviously still be on your toes about clunks or other oddness in between those intervals.
