first off, thanks for your patience....i've searched and serached and now my head is spinning...... here it goes..

    i have a 2009 double cab trd sport 4x4.

    parts i have to install
-5100 front with eibach springs set at .85
    -light racing UCA's
-toyota tsb rear spring getting done next week
    -5100 rear

i'm looking to get some ballistic jester black rims in 17x9 with 0 offset which i believe gives me 5" of backspacing. i wanted to go with a -12mm offset which would of gave me 4.5"bs but the rim is not avalible in that size, which is why i'm going with the 0 offset.

I'm on the fence about wether to run 265/70/17 or 285/70/17. I don't off-road just the occasional dirt road and lots of snow driving during snowboard season.

Will i have any problems running this rim/tires size with my setup? any pros/cons with running this set-up?

thanks for all your help in advance and once again, i couldn't have made it this far without everyones help and suggestions.

Run em with the 285's. Best fit for the lift IMO. The 265's just look too small(and I think a 9" wide wheel is outside MFG recommended mounting width), and the wheel specs should clear 285's great.

will running 285's with the 0 offset on that rim require me to do a lot of trimming?

probably less than with the -12mm offset.
Just tucks them into the wheel well my about 1/2" which means less scrub radius when turning the wheels, which is when most rubbing occurs.

Goodluck finding a pair. They have been on backorder for most of the sizes for quite a while. (black that is) They do make them in -12 offset. Check out that homo SandJunkies nice ride.

thanks...i must've missed the listing for the -12mm offset...i only saw the other two offsets in the 17x9 size.

i'm not in a hurry to get them so hopefully i can get a set.
