    Can't find OE units for a 2012 5 lug?

Can you share a few places you've tried?

Tried a few dealerships and all verified “only with control arms”. Iffy on multiple toyota parts online, shipping to Hawaii sucks so want to get it right the first time by asking recommendations.

You can order factory lower ball joints for the Hilux out of Japan, they are the same. For upper DJM uses Moog when you order them with the ball joints. I went with Mevotech greaseable one for mine. Both Moog and Mevotech are available on Rock Auto or many other places.

Yeah, I've seen the mixed reviews for both them and the Moog ones too. So far they are doing fine. I've had them on for about a year so probably 10-12,000 miles on them at this point.

Scrubbed some tires, and knocked a dent out.
From what I've read it depends on the line production.

Was shocked when I saw people on here advocating for one of ttx's higher line ball joints.

Personally my experience has always been that OEM lasts the best. But I'm also wrong a lot so ..

5-lug with DJM arms, Viking coil overs, reworked tie rods and spaced steering rack up front. Dropped approximately 3.75/4. I basically don't have any stock suspension parts left on the vehicle beside the front sway bar.

Trust me, I know. I've done a lot of trial and error getting things to work the way I want them to. Re-did the rear three times trying to get it just where I want. Had to play around with the tie rods and spacers a couple times to work out the bump steer issues. And just finished making my own spacers for the driver's front to get rid of the taco lean without screwing up how the coil overs worked.
