I just moved it over and it's one with one bolt and still seems sturdy enough to me. Great work Jerry these things are awesome and beefy, well worth the wait! Hopefully a low profile rack to replace this one in the near future :D

What angle are your sliders, and can they be made at different angles?

The standard is 20 degrees we can do 10 or flat that's all we stock for legs now.

@JLee Ive been eyeballing your sliders forever waiting for a sale to snag them! Ever since I saw them on Alex's truck, I've been sold.
I had a quick question maybe others here can answer.
For the DOM upgrade, is it worth it? I don't plan on rock crawling my truck. Just the typical trail and then use them as lift points with the Hi Lift. Will the standard HREW be a better fit or should I continue to save money for the DOM upgrade? Thanks guys

You will be waiting for a while for a sale we are no longer offer sales on them to get caught up. And if your not beating them into the rocks you don't need DOM HREW will be just fine.

So since I have an 08 and have the three rivets rearward on my frame, I'm gonna have to drill out holes on the freshly powdercoated sliders? I'm afraid to grind down the rivets where they are flat with the frame.

My sliders just arrived at my house today.

Edit: were changes made where I can expect holes to already be on the sliders or do you recommend using a cutoff wheel to grind the three rivets flat with the frame?

I think it's only the 05 on the DCSB that needs to modify them. The quote above was a DCLB slider

Fit the slider up before you cut or drill anything I'm pretty sure the 80" sliders clear those rivets.

What should I be torquing the middle/crossmember bolt to? Right now I just have it hand-snug with a 3/8 ratchet

Just realized I never posted back, the 80” sliders cleared all rivets. Still holding up strong, I love em! Had a couple people open their doors into em and get pissed

I just installed the passenger side 80” slider on my early ‘16 (Nov 15 build) DCSB. Fit was perfect. No weirdness with extra holes, rivets etc. Really, the job was about as easy as could be expected for a 65 pound 80” long hunk of steel, installed by a 60 year old guy, by himself, stock height truck sitting on its tires. Crawling in and out to get the tools I set down out of reach was probably the hardest part. I did make a slight mod to the black plastic box that covers the wiring harness connection on the passenger side. When I moved the bracket forward and position it so the cover could be reinstalled, I felt the tab at the top end of the bracket was making too much contact with the grommet where the harness passes through the floor. It’s pretty clear in Jerry’s photo:
    1CDFDCCE-D0ED-4859-B3DC-5E1D16D2386C.jpg
So I cut the tie wrap which gave enough slack in the harness to rotate the bracket down, and also trimmed some of the black cover away to clear the harness, and re-tied the harness in it’s new position. I’m very comfortable with just one screw attaching the bracket to the frame, but felt the tension in the harness and contact of the sheet metal edge against the grommet might cause problems down the road without my mods. With that change, and my generally slow and steady work, the one side took me about 2 hours. Yeah, I probably wouldn’t last long in a flat-rate shop. Tomorrow, driver’s side.

Finished driver’s side today. Again, everything fit, cleared rivets and clips etc very nicely. I did have to remove one of the clips on the fat, sleeved sectioned harness under the driver’s door, to clear the slider. I think the slider mounting plate could be relieved in that area to clear, without reducing strength, but it was no big deal since there are other clips on the harness nearby.

Also, I chose to install both of the bolts that are near the brake lines from the inside, not just one. Provided more clearance between bolt and brake line, with less brake line bending, since the bolt head is lower profile than the nyloc nut. I also installed the rear 3/8 bolt that goes through the angled section of the lower frame and slider flange, from the top. It’s hard to reach in there and seemed easier to align the bolt and feed it through the hole, than hold the nut in that tiny space. Now I gotta go find some rocks! A great product, not to mention great for Bay Area folks who want to shop local.

Installed my sliders today. Bolted right up without any issues, modifications, or left over hardware. Beefy and sick looking.

Just got my sliders and hardware for 2018 DCSB. Checking my hardware against parts listed on post 1 here. Everything matches up except for the following.
    - instead of 26 fender washers, I only have 10?
    - I have extra parts. 9 large steel washers and 2 larger fender washers, what are these for?

Lastly, instruction says to prime and paint welded washers, do I need to spray all steel parts including the 9 large steel washers?
