I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Yes if you leave them touching you will have rubbing issue. you need to bend the brake lines away from the bolts so they don't touch.

You could of went outside and done it already by hand that's not necessary. And you would most likely need to pull the lines off the truck to use that.

+1 to this, you should be able to just bend them enough out of the way by hand. easier than you think

I might be missing something, but it seems as though my 2016 does not have holes in the side of the frame towards the front. Is this a common thing with 2016s? As far as I can tell, I'm going to have to mock them up and trace out the hole, take em back off and drill two holes.

That black plastic cable hose is in my way, am I supposed to cut the zip tie and move it?

They are held in the frame with a little clip no need to cut anything. Just pop it out and install the slider.

    I have a 2018 DCSB 4wd btw

How many bolts are supposed to be used for the driver side?
I have three 1/2 inch in bolts for the front, two 1/2 inch bolts for the middle and one 3/8 bolt for the very rear.

There is a slot for one more bolt in the second picture, however there isn’t enough space to fit a 1/2 inch bolt.

You just put a bolt in the holes they fit into, if the bolt doesn't fit it's not intended for that location. The amount varies 05 to 07 are odd ball frames sometimes a rivet needs trimming sometimes it's not there. 08 to 15 will use all the bolts, 2016 plus will use less most likely 2 on the 16/ 17, And 4 1/2" bolts left on the 18 plus 3rd gens. Not sure what you mean not enough space for a 1/2" bolt all the bolts should be loosely fit before tightening.

Cool cool. What I mean is that there is a hole for a 3/8 bolt but not 1/2 inch bolt. I could buy one extra to put in that space but doesn’t seem too much better than leaving it empty.

I cut up the plastic box covering the cables in the passenger side of the truck so I could mount one of the bolts.

I got around 6 bolts on the passenger side as well.

i jumped on the sliders a bit and there seems like a tad bit of flex but I’m sure this will hold you everything I can throw at it and then some.

Anyways I’m done, and it looks extra cute. Thanks @JLee !

I just tried to get mine installed. Laid everything out and ready to go, but I could not for the life of me get the first bolt out.

Guess I need a little more PB and muscle.

Shearing torx screws off my old Jeep has me worried cranking too hard on any bolts, but if it held up to all 215lbs of me pulling, I’ll need a new approach.

I saw someone show one end of their ratchet strap attached, but not the other. Kinda curious how it’s set up in case I just put tension on it wrong.

I know it's a dumb thing to over look but were you tightening the bolt? You would be surprised on the amount of people that shear that bolt on having the ratchet set to tighten then sitting upright and turning "left" tightening the bolt more.

I got under to look at the bolt head on so I wouldn’t have that problem. I’ll just give it another go over the long weekend when I’ve got some more time to troubleshoot

I had to use my jack handle as a breaker bar to get that cross member bolt loose (I think that's the bolt you're referring to). I went very gently when pulling on the jack handle and the bolt came loose easily after struggling for a while with just my ratchet. I didn't end up needing to use a strap to get the bolt back in thankfully.
