BAMF 05 to 15 Plate bumper

Hey @JLee know I hit u up on the hybrid thread but taking a look at this one too. How much weight does this add Up front and would it require me to upgrade anything to the 2008 TRD Sport suspension time support it vs the hybrid bumper ? And these also come with the low hoop option? Looked like no pics of that just yet from an earlier post? Thanks

Well it's not Monday, but i'll take it!! Sooo worth the wait!!

 

This beauty showed up yesterday...can’t wait to put it on. Big question is do I wait for my front suspension in about a month or go ahead and put it on??

Thanks Jerry...my grandfather bought it new for my mom and it’s staying in the family. She’s at 775mi. now. Not bad for a 50 year old bike.

 

To those wanting more detailed pics of the bumper and quality of weld and powder coat. These should say it all.

 

I don't like to toot my own horn but that is sexy.

 

It is what it is man. Nothing wrong with showing pride in quality hard work. I fabricate things with my hands too and take pride in my craft as well. I can see the care and quality put into this bumper and it shows.

I really like yalls powder coat texture. I was expecting a smooth satin but really like the slight texture.

 

And it keeps guys with OCD buying your parts because we like put powder coat to match lol. I see a high clearance rear in my future from y’all.

Thinking about buying this bumper while on sale. Couple questions. Just scrolled thread and didn’t see anyone with the low hoop option. Debating between that and the single hoop

secondly I have done much research in fogs, but with the discount the Baja ones offfered seem to be a good price. Are most of you running those ones offered by bamf or finding something else?

 

@JLee or anybody else. Before I start fitting this beast do these stay or go? Thanks in advance.

 

Take them off they will eventually break or crack and are annoying after that.
