I do like easy. After spending hours drilling out the shackle mount rivets, I almost don't even want to look at the truck.

Thanks BAMF for the great kit. I installed it on my Tacoma about 6-months ago. Easy install, looks great and performs excellent!

However, I recently noticed that both of my rear King 12" 2.0 remote reservoir shocks are leaking oil. I imagine it is from desert prerunning and having the front tires kick up rocks into the exposed/unprotected King shock shaft and damaging the seal.

I will need to get the rear shocks rebuilt soon and get some kind of guard or boot to cover the shaft to keep it from leaking again. (Similar to Ford Raptor rear shock guards)

Have anyone had a similar experience or know of a way to protect our King investments?

    Thanks in advance!

Easy install ...lol, I guess if someone slams and burns it in it's easy but doing it right takes some time.

If the shafts are pitted then boots would have prevented that type of damage.
    Or
You may have sized your shocks wrong / set up lower mount wrong and could be extending them to far.

I've had no issues and the kit rocks.

Why drill them out? Burn them out, hit with bfh - done in a couple of minutes

My curent rear shocks are 10 years old and starting to leak, time to upgrade. I have this kit on order and am looking at shocks. Im out of town until the end of March so I can't cycle my suspension and take measurements at the moment.

Does anyone see an issue with these 5125 billies with this relocate. In the rear I have a shackle flip with shackles designed to give an XJ 1.5" of lift, all pro's standard pack with OMEs D29XL AAL. No bumps.

Part # Travel Valving Compressed Extended
    33-185576 14.3" 255/70 20.75" 34.9"

It's over 3.5" longer extended than the kings BAMF tested. The compressed length is about 1.5" longer but I don't do anything anymore where I can see me stuffing the rear hard.

The next smallest 5125 has only 11.9" of travel. Maybe 11.9" is overkill for me, I don't know, but there all the same price. What do you guys think?

Wanting to do this soon, does it help improve the ride while on road? What springs are most of you all running with this kit and seeing the best results?

Do you happen to have a part number for the ICON universal shock?

Edit: Nevermind. Found it on their site.

I was running the AllPro Expo pack with ATO shackle flip and it rode SUPER smooth with lots of flex.
