How much clearance do you have between tire and shock body?

Awesome, thanks for your help. I'm looking to do a 2.0 fox setup with oem 4runner trd pro wheels and skinny 33" wildpeaks and I think it will work without spacers.

i have a broken bilstein 5125 and was planning to upgrade to the king PR2012-SS but apparently they are on like an 8 month back order. looks like many of you are using bilstein 7100s and they might be more readily available. looks like i just need to figure out what valving to go with and was hoping you guys could help. 2009 quad cab short bed with Dakar leaf pack. i have a heavy high clearance rear bumper with tire swingout and spare as well as a CVT roof top tent that is always on the truck. what valving would i want to go with for this weight and travel?

There’s really no final answer on 7100 valving. Several different valving setups has been tried by various members from 255/70 to 360/80. All have good things to say about them but I don’t think anyone has tried different valving on the same setup to say for sure what is better. I went with 360/80 figuring I can revalve them softer if I feel the need. I won’t be doing my install for 1-2 weeks still but will report back when I do.

Between work, life and it just being hot AF, this has been a week long project. Still need to take the shocks back out and paint everything, put in tabs, straps and do the brake lines but at least I have shocks again. Been running Bluetooth shocks for close a month. I was actually surprised how well the truck drove with just Deavers and the BAMF hangers. Stole the reservoir mounts off my old 5160s. It all turned out pretty good but wasn’t easy. Lots of grinding. Shitty dark pictures but you get the point.

For anyone who was curious, 360/80 valving in the Bilstein 14” 7100 SB is too stiff for 300-400# extra in back. Going to pull them and revalve in a few months. Just my initial opinion.

Has anyone used this kit with FOX-985-26-054? I am looking to avoid spherical bearings if possible due to salt existing.

I just order 255/70 valve stacks so we will see how they feel. Probably a month before I see them though.

These will not work. You have to have a spherical at the top for the kit to work.

Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
Can anyone share the part# for the spacer needed on the 7100 Bilstein's? I think it is a 1/2"X 1 1/2"

Maybe this will help some out. I have about 1/4" to 3/8" of room between wheel and shock when stuffed. Running 285/70 17 tire with a 9" wheel and -12 offset. Shock is a 2" smooth Fox shock. (has yellow tape on it in picture)

25" of flex with sway bar. (now removed:D)
