BAMF 2nd gen Hybrid front bumper

The more i see pictures shared the more excited i get waiting on my order. Cannot wait to install this. Now it's just shopping for a winch left.

Hey man if I had only known my truck would be at the body shop 7+ weeks now lol. Anyways. For the 2nd gen (2008) there are limited pics of the hybrid on your site. Example. The low hoop option etc. would love to see some before pulling the plug.

 

Its a new option there is only a few people that even have the low hoop. All the pictures I have are in this thread.

 

Right here is all I have we haven't done too many low hoop on the 05 to 11 and we dont install so no pictures of that option.

 

Ok I mainly was curious does the low hoop and essentially THe hybrid bumper as a whole for the 2nd gen Look similar to the 3rd gen? Just to have something to reference.

 

I have a local customer picking up one with a low hoop next week. I'll be sure to get pics once it's installed. The 3rd gen hybrid is a totally different design other then connection point on the wing tips matching for all of our hybrids. The only difference on the 05 to 11 and the 12 to 15 is the top lip for the grille.

05 to 11 has a flat top from edge to edge.


12 to 15 is angled up in the center for the smaller grille profile.


The 3rd gen is a totally different design.

 

thanks @JLee sorry for the questions i'm a NOOB to the bumper game! thanks for all your help and outstanding work. I'm glad that i'll be able to order the bumper and anxiously anticipate it like everyone else haha. yeah the low hoop on the early 2nd gens' i'd LOVE to see how that looks. for the light bars the ones tha tyou have listed can u fit other brands with the mount and or size of the cutout ? I don't have any bumper light bars or any of those diff cool looking square fog pods but know that i'll wanna fill up those holes and just curious. as for the weight, would I be ok with stock TRD sport suspension ? I don't have a lift. just have a skid plate that I had added to the truck when I bought it. not sure if it's the TRD one or not.. it doesn't have the TRD letters on it and is just that silver color.

I'm trying to decide on the hybrid vs the steel bumper. I have stock 2008 TRD sport suspension, no lift or any mods in that respect. looks like these hybrids leave a lot of viewable real estate under the truck vs the steel ones. I guess i'm wondering since I don't have all the fancy shocks and lift stuff will it look funny on mine leaving that stuff viewable/open. (does that make sense) ? sorry I don't know all the offroad lingo.
