Just received my after 5 no shows by trucking company

going to tackle the install soon

has anyone tackled the install by themselves? I’m solo, so was thinking floor jack and even use my forklift and put some straps on it to hold bumper up while connecting

with the hybrid is white factory paint going to show behind it? Should I grab black spray can for certain areas?

I don’t have my switch bros installed yet. How much of a pain will it be to install bumper with winch and light bar and then hook them up later?

White paint is visible behind mine if you kneel down and look at it straight on, but not really visible from most angles. Wiring lights after install is how you want to go regardless, you can easily feed wire through to the engine bay. May need grill out the way for the winch, but that goes directly to battery. I had to cut a sheet metal support bracket for the grill to make room for the winch so spray paint is useful to have on hand anyway.

Thanks for the help guys. Only have a couple
Hours at a time to work so think I’m going to tackle removal one day and install next

I’m shopping for shackles. Does anyone know what max pin size will fit? I’m looking at cm 6.5t abs van beest 4.75t that both have 7/8” pin. But master pull has a van beest with a 1” pin. Not sure if it will fit

I just started the installation process. Everything is ripped off. Can you tell me if I need to remove these for the frame brackets? Can’t get brackets to line with bolts with them there

Also. Am I correct holding the bumper onto the vehicle is just the 6 bolts from the aluminum crash bar. Then the additional 6 bolts for the reinforcement bracket?

Thanks for the reply. Is it the single bolt underneath for each side? Does bolt get tossed or reused for bracket/bumper?

For everyone who installed with a winch. Did you have trouble with the bolt size for the fairlead? All the bolts with my evo 10s don’t seem to go through. Wondering if I’m suppose to drill it out. Hoping not

They are for 3/8th bolts you can swap the bolts to 3/8th you don't need to to drill if you got larger bolts with the fairlead.

Thanks. I wanted to get a jump on it over weekend and drilled them. Should have gone to hardware store

can someone who installed a winch help me out. I’ve never done one before. Already installed the solenoid on top then realized it won’t fit and needs to be relocated

anyone have pics how they did theirs? I know instructions say behind grill or In engine compartment. Would like that cleaner install but then have to figure out the wiring situation

@JLee - I've seen you mention in this thread that it's possible to request this bumper without the logo. What is the process for that? Just write "no logo" in the order comments section? Will that impact lead time?

Thanks so much! Looking forward to getting one to match my BAMF sliders and skids.

You can put it in the comments and yes it will be the last thing touched in the batch of bumpers it's in. Any custom requests go to the bottom of the pile to not hold up any other orders.

If your concerned about lead time do not request anything that can't be ordered on our site and order bare metal.
