I got mine in bare steel because I wanted to add some features, but currently getting a bunch of quotes for local powdercoat.
prices are ranging from $140 from a guy who does it out of his garage vs all the way up to $600 for a big company.
I'm still waiting on a bunch of estimates back but here's the prices I've received back so far
    $200, $600, $140, $300, $250, $375, $175, $210. which averages to $281.25
but if you take out the $140 garage price, the average is actually $301.43
Keep in mind this is prices back from all the places I asked for quotes, not necessarily the best rated or well reviewed shops.
so IMO if you are just planning on doing a simple bolt-and-go with the bumper, $300 for a p/c job that Jerry knows is good seems pretty fair.

The price isn't at all my concern, mainly the 2600 miles between the shop and my closest freight terminal is what worries me. That's a lot of miles for scratches and gouges to occur that will eat me alive upon delivery until I can get them fixed.

understood, I was purely answering your question of
It cost maybe $50 more to have it shipped to my house if that makes any difference in your decision.

I greatly appreciate the quotes as I have done no local research on my own. This is a decision that will haunt me for the next 4ish days, while the sale countdown ticks away

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Not in our area, it's very expensive that's why we do it in house. And freight goes up another 60 bucks with powder coating to properly pack it so you have to factor that in as well. We don't have many issues with damage during shipping we properly pack for it but it does come at a cost.

Thanks for the information, definitely good to know. I have some thinking to do this weekend.

I also had the photoshop thread mock this up for me with @Chaury08's truck with the recessed grille to see how the full hoop would look.bamfgrill.jpg

Hey @JLee, was looking around on the website, and even scouring the google machine didn’t yield any results. You guys have an install pdf or video on this thing? Maybe I’m blind and can’t find it. Wouldn’t put it past me.

I know the feeling, ordered it January 30th. Just think of it as paying more to get it sooner

got my bumper mocked up over the weekend and from a top view, the gap from the grill to the bumper wasn't quite the same left to right, which is a minor issue, but I figured if it's easy to correct I might as well do it. I'm sure it's all from the build variances in the toyota frame.

alignment itself looks to be super easy to fix with a 1/8" - 1/4" shim plate between the bumper mount to the bumper on the "low" side.
Unfortunately I didn't think about the reinforcement brackets until after I dropped it off at the powdercoaters.

Will the reinforcement brackets still fit if I shim the bumper out by up to a 1/4"?

The bumper has slotted mounting to allow for adjustments. The brackets will mount within the full adjustment range.

I'm not describing myself correctly, let me try again.
I want to put a 1/4" plate between the bumper and frame to move one side of the bumper to be "forwards" by a 1/4", in effect "yawing" the bumper for alignment.
the slots you mentioned are for adjusting height or "roll" of the bumper

No you can't make the mounting thicker unless you install longer studs or cut your off.

Try to ask them if they can "throw it in" with another job that is the color you want. I had to wait an extra day but black powdercoat jobs are common and throwing a bumper in with a larger job is easy for most shops to do and it allowed be to get a way better price. $300 for both front and rear bumpers with all accessories

I just installed the bumper (tall hoop) with the grill removed for ease of access and watching the winch clearance...
Now I can't get the grill installed because the bumper/hoop to grill gap is too tight. Am I being dumb and just need to shove a little bit?

Or is everyone installing the bumper with the grill still in place?

well, ended up pulling the bumper a couple inches to get the grill back in.

looks great, had to mod the hood latch support structure a bit to get the winch control box to fit without a relocation kit.
So happy there are those giant holes to get your hands into for various things.

what gap is everyone running between the wings to the bumper corner/fender flare?
I'm at 1/4" now, not sure if i need to increase the gap to keep from rubbing?

Looks great! if your not twisting the truck out off-road 1/4" should be good. If your wheeling it I'd go a least 1/2" or you could pop a flair off flexing it out.
