    i have your aluminum eco grill right now because i didn't wanna spend 5-6 hundred but sill just really like the recessed more

    so i ordered it last week and now i'll just sell the marine eco grill lol

    my 2 cent is in the end if u like the recessed more just get it...

    Hey JLee.. any chance I can get a set of grommets from you? Had some frontend repair work done a few months ago, the body shop overtightened every one of the grille bolts and they all tore.

    I have a Tacoma being shipped in right now, and I settled on Quicksand. I've seen a lot of pictures that makes me think I might the right decision, but this picture is a whole new level of awesome.

    The standard black is the same color as the grille. So flat black would stick out more.

    Well I guess I shouldn't have jinxed it. My surround is cracked right through. Fuckkkkk. We've been in the middle of a crazy cold snap recently up here. Figures.

    I took a lot of care to not over tighten the grille when I installed it, but then in May I was hit in a parking lot and had some paintwork done. The Toyota body shop over tightened the grille upon reinstall and destroyed all of the grommets. I tried to loosen it a bit but that probably factored into this. Being an aftermarket piece I'm guess the body shop will tell me to suck an egg.

    I know there have been a few other instances of cracking with this product. Sucks because it really looks good. With my cold winters up here I'm not sure I'll be able to trust it again once I have the crack repaired.

    Ouch.
    Honestly, I would file the edges straight, and cut the other side mirrored. People would just think it's a seem line and wouldn't look out of place. Call it an "expansion gap" lol
