I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
The sensor will not mount to the grille.

Why not work on developing a compatible grille insert? Toyota will probably include TSS on all future Tacomas, so if you want to play in that market you’ll need to adapt.

Exactly... just dropped a major bill on this truck, and nowhere in the world does anyone make a grill that nice...I just can't see "disabling" that part w less than 1000 miles. Couple of welded studs, or a small fabbed box? I really like that option on my truck....for now...

Yes, or cut an opening for the OEM Garnish and add some type of mounting in the rear for the TSS. Could probably modify the current grille insert without too much difficulty.

Not for a $600 grill...sorry. that's not an option, I'd just do the Pro grill and plug and play.

The liability out weighs the potential revenue. If the system fails to react due to being bolted to a metal grille and a collision happens. And the sensor wont fit our grille anyway it would take a major redesign so to run our grille the system will need to be disabled or you find a mounting location yourself.

Or buy an older Tacoma without all of the safety sensors, then you can pimp your truck out in BAMF Swag. Lol

I know its NOT a BAMF grill BUT, DB customz does have a grill that works for the 2018+ tacomas with the TSS....mine isnt a 2018 fyi, just a point of reference on what their grilles look like. I do like the BAMF, just my preference with DB Customz:D

I prefer the BAMF, but it doesn’t look like Jerry wants to offer a TSS compatible grille.

That is correct the other companies can take the lawsuits when people start crashing thier trucks and the insurance adjusters start blaming the aftermarket parts for the collision.

If you want to run our grille you will have to disable the TSS.

Nope not going to happen any time soon if we did they would be 1500 plus just to cover the massive insurance policy to cover the liability of the grille caused the system to malfunction.

Can you say “disclaimer”? Disclaim any liability in your terms and conditions of sale. You’re already assuming some level of liability with your current grille if you don’t have a disclaimer.

Yes, I know. But you’re still assuming some level of liability by selling an aftermarket product, however small that may be.

So that's it??? Considering you will miss out on 99% of every Tacoma built from here on, you are going to only cater to 2 years??
I don't see Toyota going backwards and taking the TSS off of their trucks any time soon....
