That's it were not making them to fit the TSS sensor. You want it disable the system.

    Better customer relations...lmao

He doesn't have to do anything that suits a small percentage of people as your self. Many people will trade in the TSS BS and buy his grill so he won't be missing the market to the later years of the tacos. No way to make everyone happy, keep shopping and move on.

Good luck finding a grill, there are quite a few different options that look really good...

Makes sense why BAMF won't do it for liability reasons. Toyota says it can activate with metal in front of that little sensor.

Technically his grill will work on 2016 / 2017 / 2018 / etc, but for those trucks that include the new safety sensors AKA TSS, you will have to disable that function to enjoy this AWESOME grill.

As a business owner, he doesn’t want to take a potential liability risk by trying to build a new grill that accepts the TSS. If something fails as he stated previously, Toyota Corp could potential come after him or the Customer. That’s a risk! Especially since our society is so Sue Sue everyone.

    Yes, I have a 2016 Tacoma, but I’m
Rocking his grill over the Pro grill. So many people have the PRO grill.

I believe JLee has Great Customer relations, as he replaced my shipped damaged grill in the beginning with no hassle to me except the wait :annoyed:. He had great customer service and communication. He was patient as everyone was non stop nagging him bout the final release of his product but kept his Cool.

    I am glad I didn’t buy a 2018 after all LOL. WHEW!

If his sliders fail while being used as a hi-lift point and someone gets injured or worse, he has similar liability. That’s why a disclaimer is needed. This would apply to a grille insert as well.

Does he not have that ? Couldn’t that be placed on the individual who welded it to the Frame ?

Maybe he doesn’t want to take an extra liability on the Grill and/or doesn’t want to turn an Awesome Grill = ugly with a blank spot for the TSS sensor lol.

I would defer to JLee as I’m not here to turn this thread for his grill into a complain fest.

This thread is not going to turn into a debate over this TSS sensor. We will not be producing a grille that accepts it. So lets change the subject so mod doesn't need to come in here and clean things up.

You didn’t start this thread, and it’s not a for sale post, so what’s the issue?

I don't care this thread was started when we built the prototype the grill in the OP's truck. It has been the sale and info thread for two years so yes this is a sale thread.

Interesting that this is the for sale thread in the wrong section then. You’re definitely going to lose customers based on no TSS and the fact they make the grill surrounds crack, and your poor attitude
