    Will the lead time be quicker for those that just got the plain black powder coat for the entire grill?

    Also, anyone that didn't jump on this special will definitely be missing out big time. This is an awesome piece of work unlike other grills that are mesh inserts with a badge on it.

    The quality of this grill is awesome forsure, but I really liked the first prototype better though as it still used the chrome ring. I hate how big the 3rd gen grill is. It's not that I liked the chrome ring, but I was panning on color matching the ring so that the grill looked smaller. I'm not wild about the exposed fasteners or the piping around the grill either. I would like to see it mounted before I make a decision on ordering. Hate that the discount price is ending before some pics of it mounted are posted.

    Yeah I have agree with some of you.

    I placed an order anyways but to not have everything up front in terms of being mounted etc makes it harder to decide.

    A grille on its own vs on the truck can totally look different.

    However I still think it will look good regardless

    BAMF puts out great products, so I was willing to take a chance without seeing my "exact" product. Its also the only grill available that is not flat, which makes it even better to break up that big front

    I placed my order for a black grille with an Inferno backplate and black powder coated bolts. I love my SR grille, but I'll do a comparison once I receive this. I'm sure either way, I'll have a grille people will want to buy! :)

    I would say its well priced when compared to DB customs grille at $440 for a flat piece of cut metal.

    Just thinking out loud here, OP. Would it be logistically possible to leave the backplate off and install a Rigid Industries or similar SR amber light bar in place of the backplate? Toyota backlit might look pretty trick. Just a thought.

    Standard black powder coat.

    I'm still on the fence about having him powder coat my back plate red

    Oh and powder coated screws
