    Anticipation was getting to me, I took matters into my own hands. My trd 4x4 sport next to my dad's GMC and his faded year old dealer plates lol not the best photoshop but man isn't the finished product gonna look awesome !

    I was thinking on the same lines and came up with replacing the bar behind the letters with a translucent white acrylic strip and using led stick on strips that are waterproof. They come in a pack of 4 each about 11 inches long. Also maybe use some aluminum duct tape to create a reflective surface. My Tacoma is quicksand but couldn't find any translucent plastic that would come close to that color so I think white illuminated all the time would look good. Sort of like DRLs in the day. Maybe amber would be a better choice. Any issues with replacing the rivets with sheet metal screws after they are drilled out?

    Now that would look pretty sweet back lighting it with amber let strips! The only issue i see with sheet metal screws is not being able to get to the nut on the back side. a rivnut might be needed to re attach the center section.

    Also seeing how people cant see what it looks like without a picture of it on a truck :notsure: and @LOUDAWGTRD44 was nice enough to photoshop it onto his truck i have extended the sale one more day 24 more hours from now so 8:00am tomorrow the sale will be done for good. If you still can't see it because it doesn't have your color combo sorry you will just have to order it in a few weeks when we get the colors in stock and starting shipping grilles to customers.

    Had to look up what rivnuts are and they look like a good solution as I may want to change the color of the translucent strip from time to time and it may be necessary to change out LEDs if they go bad.
