Any chance you could color match a set of lug nuts with the powder coat, and do you think it would hold up??

That's what I was thinking, would sure look slick though! Satin black rims with inferno lugs!

 

Can we change our order at all? I went with black grille and sky backing plate, I don't want to wait another month for just a little silver backing plate to be Powder coated and would just take a black one to paint myself . I doubt you could really tell being that far away (not butting up to) if it wasn't 100% factory match, plus being silver with variants it will not match one truck to another's anyway.

We can change the order but we're still at least 2 weeks from even starting to ship first order so depending on when you ordered you could still be a month out.

 

I ordered in the first minute or two, so I hope I am in the first batch at least. How much would just going with a black backing plate shorten shipment time vs sticking with silver?

I couldn't tell you how much it would shorten the ship time if any as we could have the powders here before it's even done and ready to be assembled.

Understood Lee, it seemed like we were just waiting on those new powder coating colors to come in and I was willing to ditch the silver if that was the case. One of the best grilles out, that's why I was on it when ordering went live. Just finished installing front lights and am eagerly wanting this to complete the front end.

 

No were not just waiting on the color matched powders the grilles are still being made. We're still in the prepping phase were doing all the sale orders together so the ship around the same time.

 

i think the key here is going to be... 1) unfollow this thread 2) forget you ordered a grill from jerry 3) get an amazing surprise package in the mail in the coming weeks 4) install and post pictures to make all your friends jealous
